The beds were really comfortable and the decor was nice.
The faucet in the bathroom needs to be repaired.
The hotel smelled like marijauna. The tv was blaring in the room beside.
A friendly atmosphere.
As with most hotels, a breakfast (at least a cold buffet) should be available at 6:00 AM
The staff there was extremely friendly and helpful. And the locations was super easy to find! I had never been in Regina before so that was very helpful!
The bathroom was not as clean as I would hope for a hotel. So I did not end up taking a bath - which I usually do every night. The pool and hot tub was not very clean either. The food in the attached lounge was not very good.
Location is good as it is close to shopping and has nightclub and restaurant attached.
The pool and pool area was very small. There was computer available for hotel guest use unless it was behind closed doors.
Very clean and comfortable hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We were very impressed and would definately recommend.
We had three dogs staying in rooms near us. They were barking however when this was reported to reception they were very quick to offer us another room.
It was close to everything we needed to do while we were at the funeral.
We stayed there for 3 nights and on the second day night our room was not cleaned by the staff When my husband went down to at least get us clean towels no apology was offered. Our room felt like a throw back from the 1970's but not in a good way. Most of the plugs in the room didn't work. The sink was not even attached in the vanity. There was only one end table in the main bedroom so the bed sloped to that side and was very uncomfortable. The second room if you could call it that was more of a play house the door was about 5 feet tall or less. There were numerous times I almost hit my head getting out little one. There was also a hole in the wall to the outside in the second bedroom. If it would have been colder we would not have been able to use that room due to the hole. The photos on the site did not even represent what we stayed in. The room we were in was not even updated most likely in the last twenty years. It was old and tired and looked and felt dirty and worn out.
The only things I liked were the coffee in the lobby the fridge in the room and the large screen tv.
I was not happy about having to put a $300.00 damage deposit on the room. I do not believe in credit cards and carry one for emergencies only. I was not able to use my card as it was declined when the clerk put in my room and a $100.00 damage deposit. The clerk called for the manager and I was told the only way I could stay was to pay for the room and a $300.00 damage deposit which would be refunded after checking out if room inspection allowed. Here is the deal. I am on a small pension and was only lucky I had over $400.00 in my account to cover. I have cancer along with other medical apointments and would have stayed next weekend as well as I have two apointments at the cancer clinic on monday. Needless to say I have found cheaper accomodations. I was also disapointed when booking a smoke free room that I could still smell smoke. I went to put on the air conditioner for fresh air and it did not work. I stretched out the cord and plugged it into the bed lamp and soon had fresh air. I also wanted to point out the bed was worn out and I could feel the springs especially the metal around the edge of the bed. I think you need to upgrade the rooms a little.
I liked the staff, they were very accommodating & very friendly. Every person that worked there had a nice hello or good morning. The Hotel is well kept & clean. The rooms are comfortable, spacious & very clean. It was quiet & I slept well, as it's sometimes hard to in a strange bed. I would recommend this hotel for cleanliness & amazing staff. Whenever I needed anything they were right on top of it. Not to mention your breakfast voucher for the Smitty's hat is attached to the hotel. There is also the option to have a smoking room. I will be staying there gain when I travel through on my way to Calgary in March.
can't think of anything I didn't like
The hotel was horrible. There were drunks up all night with out so much as a word from the staff, I know this because they kept my wife and I and our 2 children awake with the yelling, fighting throwing of objects and carrying on in the hall. The entire family was made ill because of mould in the bathroom. Bad enough to wipe us out for 2 days after we left the place. There was only 1 working electric outlet with a powerbar running everything in the room. Try keeping a family entertained and electronics charged on one outlet... When we found another hotel and were checking out, I thought we were being robbed. Their house keeper was in the room in her street clothes with out so much as an id or even a nametag. I will never stay there or any afilliated hotel. I would advise anyone looking for a hotel to keep looking.
Power went out in morning and couldn't finish in bathroom ect.
The savings over the regular rate we got through Booked.net
The WiFi at the hotel was fairly slow at times.
The staff here were very attentive, professional and friendly
The hotel does not offer a continental breakfast (however their brochure says they do). But they do give guests a breakfast voucher for the adjacent restaurant. They do not, however, give a voucher to guests who did not book their room directly through the hotel. Nowhere does it say that on the Booked.net website or the hotel's website. Pretty poor customer service.
The mattress was caving in the center and we were unable to open the blinds as there was no privacy on the bottom level.
Great price on Spa Room
Free Breakfast would have been a great addition
